What To Expect

Upon arrive at Bettye Davis East Anchorage High School, you will be able to work on your homework and ask questions of tutors that will be available before the rehearsal starts at 5:30. Snacks will be provided.

At the start of rehearsal you will be split into your instrument type for a master class. There will be 14 different spaces available for the classes depending on your instrument. A map will be provided of where your instrument will be taught.

Music will be provided that will challenge you at your playing level and expert instructors will work with you on the proper playing technique of your instrument.

During the practice, one-on-one pull outs will be available for teachers to work with you individually to help you improve.

At the end of the master class, the instruments within an instrument group will come together to play as an ensemble.
